Emeritus College Drawing Course

The Emeritus College is offering to its members for the first time a workshop in the Fundamentals of Drawing. Emeritus College Assistant Dean for the Humanities, Helene Ossipov, announced that Professor Emeritus of Art Mary Stokrocki will be the instructor in the 10-week class to begin Thursday, September 19 and end Thursday, November 21.

The class will meet for two hours once each week at 10 a.m. Similar to the long-standing workshops in creative writing offered by the Emeritus College, designed to help members improve skills outside of their own expertise, the drawing workshop is also open to members’ spouses or domestic partners.

The workshop will meet in the newly mediated Emeritus College conference room, Old Main 130.

There is a $100 registration fee plus a one-time $60 charge for materials and supplies. Registration is limited and early submission is recommended.
