Leslie Kane
Leslie Kane, Emeritus Professor of comparative literature, received her doctorate from New York University. She taught undergraduate and graduate courses in American and European drama at Westfield State University for 28 years, as well as classes at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and at Barrett, The Honors College at ASU. She is the author of two books, “The Language of Silence: On the Unspoken and the Unspeakable in Modern Drama” and “Weasels and Wisemen: Ethics and Ethnicity in the Work of David Mamet.” She is the editor of six books including, “Mamet: A Casebook,” awarded a Choice Award, and “The Art of Crime: The Plays and Films of Harold Pinter and David Mamet.”
