The Emeritus Faculty Fellowship

The functions of the previous Faculty Emeriti Association have now become a responsibility of the Emeritus College. Its functions, including administration of the ASU Emeritus Faculty Fellowship Program, is governed by the Emeritus Faculty Fellowship Committee, a standing committee of the College.

The Emeritus Faculty Fellowship is awarded each year to one or more outstanding graduate students enrolled in the Preparing Future Faculty and Scholars Program (PFx). By allying the scholarship with the Graduate College, we direct our support to future university and college teachers in the latter stages of their graduate programs. The fund for this fellowship was established in 1993 with gifts from many ASU faculty emeriti, their families, and friends. The Faculty Emeriti Association managed the process of selecting scholars and soliciting financial support until 2014, when the ASU Emeritus College took up that function. Contributions to this fund are most welcome. Please contact the Emeritus College for further details.
